銀柏是魔女的親戚興趣所向的園藝種植(沒有噴灑農藥)，每年園藝需要做造型修剪的時候才會進行蒸餾，因此並不是很能夠穩定產出的純露，有時候會買到2年前蒸餾的。

原則上，魔女會提供最近蒸餾季節蒸餾的產品。

銀柏又名粉葉鹿角檜，是圓柏的栽培變種。

同樣屬於圓柏的變種，銀柏葉精油的氣味與真柏葉相差甚大，大部分來說，萃取自葉的精油氣味都會比較溫和上揚、氣味清新，銀柏就是這種類型，而真柏葉的味道就比較有木質類精油的特性，深沉且略帶木質的微酸。
